Women's Month 2010

Women are a growing source of talent in the construction industry!

Women are increasingly being recognised as a valuable source of talent in the industry. The number of women studying, building careers and running businesses in the built environment has increased in recent years and continues to do so.

The participation of women as skilled and talented employees, suppliers and leaders benefits not only women in their individual capacities but the entire industry. There is no doubt that bringing more people into the economy, developing the skills base, spreading the level of ownership more widely, assisting the development of smaller businesses and encouraging the promotion of management skills will contribute to the socio-economic development of the nation as a whole.
